THE SIGNING OF MOU OF AGREEMENT OF THE RI Ministry of Foreign Affairs BPPK WITH SRIWIJAYA UNIVERSITY

There has been a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency for the Study and Policy Development (BPPK) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENLU RI) with Sriwijaya University on Monday, June 28, 2021 in a semi-virtual manner through a Zoom Meeting from the Administrative Headquarters of Sriwijaya University, Bukit Besar Campus and from BPPK Office of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jalan Pejambon No. 6, Central Jakarta.

This Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Chancellor of Sriwijaya University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Anis Saggaff, MSCE., together with the Head of the Agency for Policy Assessment and Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (BPPK – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia), Dr. Siswo Pramono, S.H., LL.M.

The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is valid for 5 (five) years and is carried out to improve partnership cooperation between the Agency for the Study and Policy Development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and Sriwijaya University. The scope of cooperation includes education and teaching, scientific research and assessment, community service, and public consultation.

There were two other agendas that were held at the event, namely the Debriefing Forum for the Head of the Indonesian Representatives and a book review entitled Earthly Deploration: Narration of the Cita Deplomat Indonesia by HE Dr. Darmansyah Djumali, SE., M.A. and various speakers who attended the event, namely Ambassador H.E Tri Tharyat, S.H., LL.M (Ambassador of LBBP RI - Kuwait for the period 2019 – 2021), Azhar, S.H., M.SC., LL. D (Head of Department of International Relations, FISIP UNSRI), Dr. Rio Budi Rahmanto (Head of Multilateral P2k Center, Bppk, Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Trias Kuncahyono (Book Review Discussion). and Prof. Dr. Alfitri, M.Si. (Lecturer of FISIP UNSRI) as a Q&A for the Debriefing Forum of the event.
