In the 168th graduation ceremony,
the Rector of Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri), Prof. Dr. Taufiq Marwa,
S.E., M.Si invited all of us and all parties, especially the academic
community, staff and alumni, to support Universitas Sriwijaya to be
Relevant, Excellent, Independent, Accountable, and Harmonious. Unsri should collaborate both internally and
externally, uphold international standard, possess resiliency, and be supported
by competent human resources. “We share our home, Unsri, let's protect it
together. Our strength is in our unity. This 168th graduation is the first
graduation that I attend as a rector. "I was officially installed as a
Rector of Unsri 2023-2027 on September 25, 2023," he explained.
There were 904 alumni, consisting
of 220 alumni from the Faculty of Economics, 61 alumni from the Faculty of Law,
90 alumni from the Faculty of Engineering, 64 alumni from the Faculty of
Medicine, 80 alumni from the Faculty of Agriculture, 53 alumni from the Faculty
of Teacher Training and Education, 139 alumni from the Faculty of Social and
Political Sciences, 33 alumni from Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences,
99 alumni from Faculty of Computer Science, 63 alumni from Faculty of Public
Health, and 2 alumni from Postgraduate Program.
