Monday, 8 November 2021 in KPA Building of Universitas Sriwijaya, Palembang, Dr. Syarif Husin, M.S. as the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Misnaniarti, S.K.M., M.K.M. as the Dean of Faculty of Public Health and Hermansyah, S. Si., M. Si., Ph.D. as the Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science Universitas Sriwijaya and Prof. Dr. Dyah Wulan Sumekar RW, S.K.M., M.Kes. as the dean of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Lampung officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science Universitas Sriwijaya and the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Lampung.
This MoA signation was under advisory of Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Said, M.Sc. as the Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation Affairs Universitas Sriwijaya and Prof. Suharso, Ph.D. as the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, Information Technology and Communication Universitas Lampung.
The objectives of the MoA are to develop and elevate the education quality, research, and community service in the field of medical science, pharmacology, and public health for the study programs under the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Lampung. The MoA includes:
• Education and tutoring
• Research
• Community service
• Publication
• Creating scientific journals which includes exchanging scientific manuscripts, editors, and reviewers
• Implementation of “Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdekan” Programme
• Mobilization of lecturers according to their expertise/competence
• Activities that improve students’ achievement
