Universitas Sriwijaya (Unsri) and Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) South Sumatera Province officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about cooperation, coordination and effectiveness in implementing the duties and functions of Unsri in fostering good governance within Universitas Sriwijaya. The MoU was signed by the Rector of Universitas Sriwijaya, Prof. Dr. Taufiq Marwa, S.E., M.Si., and Chief Representative of BPKP South Sumatera Province, Sofyan Antonius, Ak., M.M. The signing ceremony was conducted on Monday, 09 October 2023 at Function Room 1st floor of BPKP office, Palembang.
The field of the cooperation to be implemented includes supervising the implementation of strategic and/priority programs and other programs at Universitas Sriwijaya; increasing accountability in budget management for education, culture, science and technology functions; acceleration of completion of follow-up monitoring results; improving the quality of implementation of the Integrated Government Internal Control System; improving the competence of Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus at Universitas Sriwijaya; development of an internal monitoring system; consultation and making studies/analyses; exchange of data and information in accordance with statutory provisions; coordination and consultation to realize good, clean and recognized higher education governance; other activities according to agreed needs.
