Sriwijaya University academicians received a visit from the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI)

Took place at Meeting Room I KPA Building Unsri Bukit Besar, Wednesday (31/8) Sriwijaya University academicians received a visit from the Asia Competitiveness Institute (ACI), Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS). In this visit, Mulya Amri, Ph.D and Tracy Cai Jiao as ACI-NUS researchers explained the results of the study titled Competitiveness Analysis of Provinces in Indonesia that assessed various indicators such as economic growth, infrastructure, governance, environment, and also work of the state apparatus. Attended in this agenda Vice Rector I, Prof. Ir. Zainuddin Nawawi, Ph.D., Vice Rector II, Mukhtaruddin, S.E., Ak, M.Si, Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service, Prof. Tatang Suhery, M.A., Ph.D., Chairman of  Unit Cooperation and International Services, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Hasan Basri, the dean and vice dean of the faculties of  the Sriwijaya University, lecturers and students of doctoral and master's programs. The event begins with the explanation of Mr. Mulya Amri, Ph.D on an analysis of the competitiveness of the provinces in Indonesia, particularly the province of South Sumatera, followed by a survey of the respondents who comes with some questionnaire and then followed by a discussion session lead by Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Hasan Basri. In the discussion session, the Unsri offers and expects the opportunities for cooperation between NUS and Unsri the future, particularly in enhancing the competitiveness of South Sumatra province.
